A light and refreshing scent inspired by fox rain with notes of aloe, bright citrus and green tea.
In Korean, yeou (여우) means “fox” and bi (비) means “rain”. Yeoubi is the term used to describe the meteorological phenomenon of light rain simultaneously while the sun is still shining. In the bittersweet Korean folktale it is said that a cloud fell in love with a fox. However, the fox decided to marry a tiger instead. On the day of the wedding it was bright and sunny, but the cloud sorrowfully wept as they watched the events unfold. It is a story used to depict unrequited love, nostalgia and well wishes for future luck and happiness.
Notes: aloe + citrus + green tea
8oz / burn time: approx. 40-45 hours
All of our candles are handmade in small batches with pure soy wax, phthalate-free fragrances + essential oils and lead-free and zinc-free cotton wicks. Vegan-friendly and cruelty-free.
Candle Care:
The first burn is the most important burn as this sets the wax's memory. You want to make sure you allow the candle to burn for a minimum of 1-2 hours, or until the melted wax pool reaches the edge of the container, to prevent tunneling.
Always trim your wicks. Prior to each burn, trim your wicks to approximately 6mm (1/4") using scissors, nail clippers or a wick trimmer to get a flame that burns cleaner with less sooting. Trimming your wick also helps prolong the life of the candle.
Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and cover with a lid to protect from dust.
Candle Safety:
Burn your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface in a draft free area away from children, pets and flammable materials.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always burn within sight. Extinguish all candles before leaving a room or going to sleep.
Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
Keep the wax pool free of any foreign materials such as matches, wick trimmings, dust or dirt.
Discontinue use when 1/2" of wax remains at the bottom to prevent the candle from overheating and damaging the surface below.
Avoid touching or moving the candle while it is burning. The container will be hot after lighting.
